Jonathan grew up in Oregon and started working with his dad at age six, going along to job sites and learning the ropes of the construction world and home building. He came from a long family line of builders and has been passionate for design and building his whole life. Jonathan started co-managing his family's building company before moving to Dallas to start his own business, Oak Remodeling Co. Jonathan prides himself on the four pillars of his company: excellence, communication, relationships with clients and employees, and integrity.

Tess studied Fashion Design and Merchandising at the University of North Texas. Her passion for textile, color and beauty bring unique vision and creativity to the homes she designs. Described as warm, hard-working, and having a bohemian sense of style, Tess found work as a design consultant among friends and peers. Tess’s talent and style, a mix of modern and eclectic design, led her to launch her own company in 2014. Her design approach is focused on client experience, lifestyle design, and “sobremesa,” which in English translates to the life that happens around the table!
